WHAT HAVE WE BEEN UP TO?
The Charity has supported over 65 individuals and their families in 2016, ranging from providing basic access to phones and internet to more complex cases.
The charity is very proud to have supported a victim of sexual/physical abuse to secure a conviction of her abuser. A child at the time, she had been failed by a London Children’s service department since she was 6 years of age. Now a survivor and an adult, with amazing courage and strength, she ‘fought back’ and we secured a conviction for 14 years!!!!.
The charity has helped secure comprehensive funding for a young boy,who was denied appropriate funding for his disabilities ,which were refused by various agencies. The boy is now receiving the support he needs.
